FXCM Mobile Forex Trading Station II

Mobile trading is available to both Standard and Micro accounts. There is no additional charge for mobile trading for Standard accounts. Micro accounts will be charged $0.10 per lot when trading through our mobile platform.

Please note, some features of the FX Trading Station II will not be available on the FXCM Mobile Trading Station. Key differences include, but are not limited to, charting packages will be limited to five minute charts, daily interest rolls will not appear, and the maintenance margin requirement per financial instrument will not be available. Traders should familiarise themselves with the functionality of the Mobile Trading Station by using the demo version prior to trading real funds.

The FXCM Mobile Platform is only made available to clients who have access to the FXCM Trading Station II. It is offered as a convenience intended to be a supplemental resource to, and not a replacement of the FXCM Trading Station II Platform. FXCM recommends Mobile users not to use the FXCM Mobile Platform as the sole trading platform but instead to use it for limited circumstances. There are a series of inherent risks with the use of the mobile trading technology such as the duplication of order instructions, latency in the prices provided, and other issues that are a result of mobile connectivity. Prices displayed on the mobile platform are solely an indication of the executable rates and may not reflect the actual executed price of the order.

All entry orders placed using the FXCM Mobile Trading Station II (from Market Simplified) are entered as Good Till Canceled.

Please note that many features are the same or similar for both demo and live accounts. This may not always be the case. Differences include, but are not limited to, the fact that demo scenarios attempt to replicate real-time market scenarios. However, you are not subject to real-time market liquidity while operating a demo account. Please note that execution of all client orders on a live account is subject to market liquidity at the time your order is submitted for execution, and as such, conditions may arise when this may differ from a demo scenario that is not dependent on real-time liquidity.

  1. What mobile devices are supported? The following mobile devices are supported: iPhone and iPod touch; Android OS enabled devices; BlackBerry Curve 8900, Storm 9500, Storm 9530, Tour 9630, Pearl 8110 Series, Pearl 8120 Series, Pearl Flip 8220 Series, Bold 9000, Curve 8300 Series, 8800 Series; Windows Mobile Only for Pocket PC with Windows 5.0 and above and resolution 240 x 320 dpi; all Windows Mobile 5 Editions Models; all Windows Mobile 6 Editions Models; all Windows Mobile 6.1 Editions Models.
  2. Is the mobile trading platform service free? Yes, the mobile trading application is free for demo and live clients, but micro clients will be charged $0.10 per lot.
  3. Is the mobile trading platform available in other languages? We are currently working on supporting several languages in the coming months.
  4. How do I install the mobile trading platform? Installation instructions are available on our site here.

  8. Will the Mobile TSII Platform have all of the same features that FXCM Trading Station II has?   9. Can I trade my FXCM Micro account on the mobile platform? Yes, you are able to trade with your Micro account. If you are trading via an FXCM Micro account, your account will be charged and debited a service fee of $0.10 per 1,000 unit lot for each trade entered using the Mobile TS II.
  10. Can I trade my MT4 account on the mobile trading platform? At this time you cannot trade via MT4 on mobile.
  11. Will other mobile devices be supported in the future? We may add additional devices in the future.
  12. Can I use my existing FXCM account? Yes, you can use your current username and password to login also.
  13. What FXCM account types can I trade on Mobile? Currently you can trade Standard and Micro account types.
  14. Does FXCM support all mobile service carriers? Mobile Trading Station II is available on networks that supply service to iPhone, BlackBerry, and supported Windows Mobile devices.
  15. Do I need a data plan to use FXCM Mobile's Trading Station? Yes, your smartphone needs to access the Internet to be able to use the Mobile Trading Station.
  16. I have a LAMM account. Can I switch between my accounts on the mobile trading platform? No. PAMM and LAMM accounts will not be able to switch between accounts.
